FERN LogoHow You Can Help
If you are a graduate foresight student, alum, educator, foresight employer, or advocate, please consider donating a little of your precious time this year to help us support and network the graduate foresight education community. FERN is presently administered as a project of ASF, a 501c3 charitable nonprofit. As it grows, we expect it will become its own separate organization. Everyone working at FERN is donating their time pro bono, for the betterment of the global graduate foresight community. We sincerely thank our volunteers for their passion, insight, energy, and devotion to the cause. Here are the areas where we presently need the most help:

  • Management (Are you an organizer and communicator who is detail oriented? We'd love to have you join us in management.)
  • Research (Are you a good internet sleuther, writer and wiki editor? Help us compile valuable resources for graduate foresight students and alums.)
  • Networking (Do you like communicating and relationship building? Help foresight students, faculty, alums, and employers to join our social network.)
  • Conference (Are you good at planning and event management? Help us organize our first Foresight Careers conferences in the US, Europe, and Asia.)
  • Fundraising (Interested in finding good people to financially support our mission and projects? Join our fundraising team.)
Join the FERN Staff this Year!
Come work with a small but fun team of considerate and friendly foresight professionals on a great cause - helping graduate foresight students and alums with their education and employment, and advancing the use of foresight research. If you can
commit roughly 5-10 hours per month over the next 12 months to work with graduate foresight students, alumni, faculty, and employers, and other great folks on the FERN staff, we'd love to hear from you. Please email johnsmart-at-accelerating-dot-org.
